March 2018.

28th March 2018

Helloooooo.

Thanks for making the effort of clicking the link and hopefully having a read. This is the first of a monthly blog where I’ll be letting you know what we’ve been up to, what we are up to and what we’ll be up to.

So, over the course of March we gave away 5 lessons worth over £70 as part of our Mother’s Day competition. Which is ace. We now offer Violin lessons with our new teacher, Robbyn. She’s ace. We have agreed to sell music influenced original artwork and prints from Preston based artist Robert Parkinson. He’s ace. Check out the Black Sabbath piece he made for us as a part of Create Longridge last year. It’s ace.

Alan, myself and our guitar teacher John stuffed our heads with all of the cheese and all of the wine at the annual cheese and wine night held at St Wilfrids Club. It was ace. One of Alan’s students passed his grade 2 guitar exam with a merit. Which obviously is ace.

Several students have done their piano and drums grade exams this month so hopefully we’ll have some happy students in April when the results come through. Good luck to all of them.

We will be closed for the first week of April this year just to confuse you. So we’ll be closed from the 1st to the 9th of April. We won’t be closed for the whole of August this time around. It’s Future Sound Music’s 3rd birthday on Saturday 14th of April so to celebrate we are giving away 5 music lessons, some Future Sound Music T shirts and a guitarist survival package which will include a new set of strings, plectrums, a capo and a tuner. So keep an eye out for that on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks for having a gander.

Matt
